I’m on day 10, no weight changes. No sleep changes. No inches lost..BUT… I am 43 and have degenerative arthritis and a torn meniscus. I was running ultra marathons and now waiting to get approved for a double knee replacement .. my insurance denies it..because I’m under 50, and I’m not “obese”. I had to stop running to allow my body to heal, I’ve had cortisone injections, 3 so far, and not a fan and not seeing any changes. I’ve been wearing knee braces when I hike/walk. And I work in an old school with lots of steps.. I have to “side step” most times going down and most definitely have to hold the railing. Yesterday It hit me.. I wasn’t thinking about it, then when I did.. I was amazed.. I walked over 12000 steps yesterday, and went forward down the steps. I didn’t have to do one at a time. I also walked 4 miles with out braces, typically after 2, I get achy.
At the end of the work day, I haven’t felt aches and throbbing pain in my knees.. this will be a huge thing for me if I gain mobility and lose inflammation in my knees!! This is mind blowing!
